Spencer Krug is back with another wondrous set of songs from his Moonface project and we've got free tickets for you.

I am a huge sucker for Spencer Krugs lyrical style and vocal delivery, there's a fantastical quality about it that still remains raw with emotion, it feels genuinely unique. Of course he is best known for his bands: Wolf Parade and Sunset Rubdown. His new focus is collaborative/solo project under the name Moonface; a project that I feel is fairly underrated. The last album he released earlier this year was doing with kraut rock band Siinai called, Heartbreaking Bravery . "I'm Not The Phoenix Yet" is the third song to have a video made for from the album. Trundling into Utrecht early afternoon, the first notable difference with the full November edition of Le Guess Who? is the weather. The sun beams down upon every last face and the locals seem even cheerier than usual. If you aren't familiar with Moonface or Spencer Krug, sometimes art speaks louder than words. Moonface is merely one of 4 projects that he's part of... Sunset Rubdown which resembles this iteration the closest, Wolf Parade and Swan Lake. While Wolf Parade was his most prominent project, it seems he's never really stopped writing music with one project or another.
