The first edition of the Valentine's Day Mixtape (crafted way back in 2006) was the very first mixtape ever posted here on ATG, and it's taken many different forms ever since. When the Morning Benders changed their name to POP ETC , the members stayed the same yet a new band was born. Staying true to their new name, the Berkeley-born, Brooklyn-based band (with their strong L.A. roots) favors layers of synth over lush baroque guitar-pop with their new single "Keep It For Your Own."
