In my world Will Ferrell can basically do no wrong. I'm not sure another film star has made me laugh quite so much in the last five years. So it gives me great joy that as well as starring in the recently released, Casa De Mi Padre , another Will Ferrell film called The Campaign is due out in the UK on the 28th September (10th August in the US). Check [...]

I'm a huge Michel Gondry fan. He's a true innovator and every film he directs has his unmistakable imprint all over it. Gondry 's recent foray into blockbuster film making (with The Green Hornet ) may not have been a success, but one mildly poor film does not a director make. Which means I for one am really looking forward to his return to independent film making with his forthcoming The We And The I . [...]

We're already counting down to the Avengers, swooning over the surprise announcement of Much Ado About Nothing and eagerly awaiting the early SXSW reviews of Cabin in the Woods, but Joss Whedon just isn't done spoiling us yet. Whedon has announced he's writing and producing a supernatural romance starring Abigail Spenser. "In Your Eyes" is said to be about two polar opposite people that are supernaturally connected. Brin Hill is directing. Though the current description is vague, Whedon + supernatural usually equals awesome, so color us excited.

Good news for Hunger Games' fans. The first film adaptation hasn't even been released, but things are already well underway for sequel "Catching Fire." John Cusack's career has been a peculiar tale of quirky American indie excellence ( High Fidelity, Being John Malkovich, Grosse Pointe Blank, Bullets Over Broadway, The Grifters ), comical frippery ( Must Love Dogs, Serendipity, Say Anything, America's Sweethearts, Hot Tub Time Machine ) and lots of flops (can anyone even remember any of these? - The Ice Harvest, This Is My Father, Grace Is Gone, Money for Nothing ) He's always been considered cool though - and completely unique. It's hard [...]
