So, the premiere of MTV's new show, I Just Want my Pants Back is premiering tonight at 11 pm after Jersey Shore. I had been seeing the advertisements for this show for months, but I did not know until recently that it was based on a book. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." If Good Old War has a band mantra, we imagine it goes something like that. Their new single, "Calling Me Names", premieres on MTVu and gives listeners exactly what they'd expect from the indie-acoustic trio: soft harmonies, catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics. The video is shot as if we're sitting in the car with them for most of the ride. I love the grain-y and dull shots used to capture the vibe of times, decades ago.

Time to brush up on your calculus — TMZ reports that MTV's parody boy band 2Gether, responsible for the actual hit from 2000, "U + Me = Us (Calculus)", is planning a reunion special. The four living members of the band reportedly asked the network for control of the project, which MTV gave. So the band will be responsible for producing, shooting and delivering the reunion special (which is tentatively planned for either Los Angeles or Las Vegas), and upon completion, MTV will then decide whether to air it or not.
