This has to stop. Muse 's dramatic, over-the-top rock music is already so close to being "too much," but it always came so close to that line while still maintaining enough integrity to be taken—for the most part—seriously. Then they did this. Unless this is somehow a clever stab at the "unsustainable" nature of trends in music, it appears that Muse has jumped on the dubstep bandwagon and gone full-blown womp-womp. Somewhere in the world, Skrillex is fist-pumping and planning a collaboration.

The infamous Muse dubstep track has finally arrived. “Unsustainable” is just about as awful as the teaser trailer first hinted. I’m all for pushing for new sounds within a band, but these guys should have never of seen Skrillex last October. Equally annoying, is this faux-political agenda the English trio are trying to push down our throats in the beginning of the video. Cheesy stuff indeed. We’re hoping the rest of Muse’s new record, The 2nd Law , will be much better. We will find out on October 2nd.

Muse has just released a trailer for their upcoming album The 2nd Law which will be the band's 6th studio album in a catalog that has increasingly gotten more and more politically charged with each release. The trailer doesn't make it look like they're going to be backing off the pressure any time soon though.
