The energetic indie band Little Comets hail from Newcastle, UK,  and they will release their first single 'Adultery' on 26 October through Columbia Records . The single is self-produced, and mixed by Rich Costey (MGMT/Muse). Here's the video:

Da Muse for nyligt gæstede et italiensk tv-show for at spille deres nye single Uprising , fik de forbud imod at spille live - det skulle optages med playback. Los muchachos de Muse tuvieron que presentarse, al parecer, por obligación en un show italiano y en él les dijeron que no podrían tocar en vivo sino que tendrían que hacer playback. Por ese motivo los artistas decidieron hacer una pequeña broma y divertir al público cambiando los roles . Como pueden ver en el video el bajista, Christopher Wolstenholme "tocó" la guitarra, Matt Bellamy se fue a la batería y su lugar lo tomó Dominic Howard. So Muse was asked to lip synch for an Italian TV show. They did, but put their lead singer Matt behind the drum set and the drummer stood in as the lead singer. Pretty funny. In the interview at the end you can hear the drummer Dominic referring to "our drummer Matt". I wonder how many people in the audience picked up on what just happened. Pigeons and Planes

While promoting their new banging new single Uprising on Italian TV, Muse members Matt (singer) and Dominic (drummer) decided to trick the cheesy show and host by trading places. They wanted to protest cause they had been asked to lipsynch their performance, which is not really a thing they usually do... The funniest part is that the show host doesn't even realise, and call them "The Muse". Wait for Dom's little speach at the end, when he calls Matt "our drummer". Good one, guys. [...]

Muse crack me up and having JUST found out about this, I wanted to share. According to Revivl (and a million other sources as well) the band were asked to lip sync their new single , "Uprising" on Italian talk show "Quelli Che Il Calcio" and didn't really want to but were convinced to do so anyway. In fact, they were ended up having such a good time with it, they took some photos and posted to their Official Twitter account . Now, you have to watch this, right? [...]

Muse were on the Italian Tv show "Quelli che il calcio" to promote their new single Uprising. The fun part is that they were forced to use a backup track with vocals and full instrumentation. That's when they decided to trade places and no one in the studio noticed. The host, Simona Ventura even calls Matt the drummer. Classic!

Hey, I may not have liked The Resistance , and that might make me a terrible person, but whatever dude. I still have always respected and even liked (gasp!) Muse , especially earlier in the band's tenure. Apparently, the band was told to play to a backing track for a recent performance on Italian TV. Well, Muse doesn't like playing to backing tracks, because they're Muse, dammit. The result is this awesome, awesome "performance."  I wonder if anyone in the studio had any clue they were being punk'd harder than Justin Timberlake. [...]

Fresh off the heels of the release of their highly anticipated new album 'The Resistance' , Muse has released the video for “Uprising,” the album’s first single. Muse have been heavily promoting the lukewarm reception to their latest, fifth album The Resistance and have been a bit silly during their laborious promotional duties. Matt Bellamy? On the DRUMS? SHOCKER?! Yes, when they're not managing to fill stadia twice over, those cheeky Devonshire prog rockers, Muse do wander around European television studios miming their songs to backing tracks. Quanto accaduto oggi a “Quelli che il Calcio”, la nota trasmissione (poco) sportiva e (tanto) caciarona di Raidue condotta da Simona Ventura , ha dell’esilarante. La formula dello show prevede ogni settimana uno o più ospiti musicali che appaiono in studio e promuovono il disco del momento. Many a year ago MUSE were an an up and coming UK band compared to early Radiohead . Not so much anymore. By now MUSE have proven themselves and forged their own identity in the music world, rocking it like only they can. They're not so much an Off the Radar band anymore, but just like bands like Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Wilco or Flaming Lips we still love them.
