The Postal Service capture the weirdest (and most painful) laundry day ever in their new video for "A Tattered Line of String" ., Directed by AB/CD/CD, the dreamy clip works off a simple premise: What if the laundry machine turned on you? The execution recalls the likes of Michel Gondry, which is a compliment being that this is the sort of iconic flair that sticks in the memory banks (e.g. "Oh, the Lego video."; "Remember that running dude on fire?"; "How about the one with the big hand?"). Now, you'll always recall this video as "the fucked up laundromat." [...]

Cool tune from Barbarossa, aka James Mathé. The video is a fine piece too - it was directed by Montserrat Lombard - who we clearly need to look up and see what else he's done. This track features on Bloodlines - the forthcoming album from Barbarossa that drops on August 8th via Memphis Industries.

The day has finally arrived. J. Cole's album  Born Sinner  has finally dropped. From first listen it is easily one of the best hip-hop albums to drop this year. This album has a ton of "replayability". Dropping an album was not enough for Cole, he along with his Dreamville artist Bas and the smooth voice of  Boston native Kquick   released the video for the song "Lit". Brooklyn synthpop group Small Black released their sophomore album, Limits of Desire last month, and is an early highlight of 2013. The track "No Stranger" was paired with a video, released today, and features a highly romanticized storyline that actually fits the track's theme quite well. Check out the video below, and be sure to listen to Limits of Desire , you won't regret it.

Despite being relatively underground, Fuck Buttons first came onto the scene in their 2008 debut Self Horrrsing . They eventually became known for their bombastic crescendos and began to easily get comparisons to Animal Collective. While they lost their abrasiveness and "let's make noise for the sake of making noise" mentality in their debut, the band have seemed to revert to their brutal noise tactics in their forthcoming album  Slow Focus. With just over a month to go before the release of their third album Slow Focus , London based electronic duo Fuck Buttons today reveal the official video for recent single 'The Red Wing'. The single will be released on limited edition gold 12″ on 25 June, before the album drops on 22 July via ATP Recordings . The duo headline Glastonbury’s Park Stage on the festival’s Saturday night. Sonic and visual outputs alike, A-Trak rarely disappoints with his creative endeavors.
