Nowdays it's perfectly okay to release an album, followed by a couple of singles, promoted with an exotic tour of eclectic musicianship. And then to release a video for said single over a year later. It's been a year since tUnE-yArDs dropped the massive critically acclaimed W H O K I L L . My Country is the third music video that was dropped and it happens (in my opinion) to be the standout track on the album. Have a look at the music video.

As if one Merrill Garbus wasn't enough, the new video for "My Country" off tUnE-yArDs’ w h o k i l l brings in a slew of miniature Garbuses (Garbusi?) to dance, make faces and just try their best to act as close to Merrill Garbus as possible. Tune-Yards' sophomore LP, for some, will be a true exercise in patience. Merrill Garbus' vocals can be a serious strain on the ears, and the amount of instrumentation she's packed into this album borders on migraine-inducing.
