Mystery Jets are one of those bands who can give fans a sense of belonging. Growing up, they were my favourite band, and that fact hasn’t changed in the past eight years. Mystery Jets added a whole bunch of Americana to their sound on recent release, Radlands , and the video for “Greatest Hits” further illustrates the band’s new found infatuation with the States. There’s not many better ways to show your true patriotism than taking a girl out to the fair and showing her the time of her life. The Mystery Jets' Radlands, released back in April, was a very pleasing listen. Our very own Catherine Hawkes, when summing it up, pondered that "the recording of Radlands in Texas has injected the band with a heavy influence of Americana to their beloved Anglo-pop sound, and you know what, they pull it of with applaudable ease."
