The Mystery Jets' Radlands, released back in April, was a very pleasing listen. Our very own Catherine Hawkes, when summing it up, pondered that "the recording of Radlands in Texas has injected the band with a heavy influence of Americana to their beloved Anglo-pop sound, and you know what, they pull it of with applaudable ease." 'Greatist Hits', its new single, is, according to Hawkes "an upbeat, nostalgic beauty that delivers a very Beatles-esque sound." And now they've released a video for it. In a fairground. The MYSTERY JETS have unleashed their carnival themed video for GREATEST HITS , aka that mp3 of theirs that has a rather similar guitary sound to the BLUR's COFFEE & TV.

The KAI has quit the MYSTERY JETS/span> and the band soldier on with a new video, SOMEONE PURER .

Today Mystery Jets released the new video for recent single Someone Purer . The video was directed by Jack King and stars the group’s frontman Blaine Harrison. Check it out below. Meanwhile, bassist Kai Fish who released his debut solo album Life In Monochrome last year quit the band this week in the run up to the launch party of their upcoming album Radlands . The group have drafted in new bassist Peter Cochrane and pedal steel player Matt Park to fill his shoes.
