The top 11 from Season 10 of Idol rocked Utah’s Maverik Center last night, as they began the 2011 American Idols Live! tour . The evening started with a bang thanks to a performance of "Born This Way" from Naima Adedapo and the AI girls. In addition to Pia Toscano's "This Time" debut , fans were also treated to "House Of The Rising Sun" from Haley Reinhart, Thia Megia's "Who Says", and heavy metal lover James Durbin's rendition of Neon Trees' "Animal". The American Idol finale wasn’t just all about performances last night. There were a few segments thrown in there two. They did a sort of roast video for the judges with Randy Jackson’s showing how many times he said people are “in it to win it”; Steven Tyler’s showing lots of clips of him saying crazy things, inappropriate things and curse words; and Jennifer Lopez’s just showing how much everyone loves her. Just in case you didn't get the memo from Ryan Seacrest, last night's elimination round of American Idol was to have two contestants voted off. And the episode didn't disappoint—well, unless you were fans of either Naima Adedapo or Thia Megia. Even though she’s been a bit rusty in previous episodes, Lauren Alaina is apparently slowly but surely getting back in the contest in full force. For last evenings’ Motown Records night Lauren Alaina chose to perform The Supremes’ “You Keep Me Hangin’ On”. She did a good job with it apparently and the judges of course agreed on the matter with Jennifer Lopez saying the following about her performance: “You look amazing tonight!
