Among the tracks that'll be released on Amy Winehouse's posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures is her melancholic duet with Nas , Like Smoke . The album is released on the 5th December and, Like Smoke was recorded back in 2008 - although rumours suggest some of Nas' rhymes may have been done quite a bit later. She was a troubled girl, but there has always been something I have admired about her rugged charm, brash sense of humour and honesty, which comes out with such feeling in her music. This is the new single from Amy Winehouse's upcoming album Lioness: Hidden Treasures dropping Dec 6th. "Like Smoke" was recorded in 2008 featuring Nas with production from frequent collaborator Salaam Remi. While I'm not the biggest fan of posthumous album releases its definitely great to hear new music by the late Amy Winehouse along with Mr. Jones . Nas and Rick Ross are here to remind us all that just because a movie looks terrible, it doesn't necessarily have nothing to offer us. In this case, they have collaborated for a fresh joint off The Heist , that awful-looking comedy-caper with that big chick from Precious . "It's a Tower Heist" sounds like the kind of song you'd love to hear on either rapper's new album, but instead it's killer soundtrack fodder for a movie no one should see. Ever. Nas probably has one of the largest collections of unreleased music of any hip-hop artist to date. If some of those songs were ever released like he did with The Lost Tapes maybe the 'Nas has the worst ear for beats' argument wouldn't come up as often.
