This one will push the sentamentality button for all the old geezers out there, with Nasir drafting in long-time collaborator Large Professor to duke it out on a cut by the name of 'Loco-Motive'. Well this is an all-star lineup if I've ever seen one. Nas grabs Large Professor for "Loco-Motive" which is produced by the legendary No I.D. These three artists single-handedly defined Hip-Hop in 1994 with their work on Illmatic and Common's Resurrection , and it is only right Nas ends the song by repeating "This is for trapped in the 902s n***as". This is for yall. Nas's Life is Good LP is due July 17th.

Nas' favorite website, Rap Genius, has just released the what they say is the official tracklist for his forthcoming new album, Life Is Good.  This will be Nas' 10th studio album, and has already brought us "Accidental Murderers" , "Daughters" , and "The Don" .  The album drops on July 17th and according to the tracklist, the standard edition is 14 tracks deep with 4 bonus cuts.  The album features guest appearances by Rick Ross, Large Professor, Mary J. MTV interviews Nas as he discusses his upcoming Life Is Good album, saying that the newest project is comparable to the Fugees' The Score . He also says that it is a complete album front to back. Any album that features Salaam Remi beats has to draw some concern these days, but let's hope this is dope. Hip hop needs a great album from one of the best rappers of all time right now.
