Nas' latest single "Daughters" chronicles the relationship between he and his daughter, Destiny Jones. Appropriately, both father and daughter also star in the newly-revealed video, which you can watch below. Nas' 10th studio album, Life Is Good , is slated to hit stores July 17th via Def Jam Records.

Kicking off the day with another Nas post, last night was the official video release of his single "The Don," which is all about sippin' mimosas on top of high-rises, dressing in tailor-made suits, rolling around in luxury on wheels, and enjoying the good life Nas.

"I never did that, my sock's where my stash is at." Nas makes good on his promise, and delivers the official video for "The Don".  The song is off Nas' forthcoming summer release, Life Is Good .  This record is definitely evidence of that, as Nas enjoys rooftop cuisine, cigars, cars, and raps inside a ring of fire. I'd say life is going pretty well.  Watch it below.

After some 20+ years in the game, Nas has no problem displaying his subsequent wealth and success in the music video for "The Don" . His hard work has afforded him all the best things life has to offer, like fancy cigars, tailored suits, and champagne brunches on rooftops. Yet the Illmatic One will still readily throw on a Yankee cap and head back to Queensbridge to spit rhymes in front of a few dozen of his homeboys. It's not easy to balance both worlds and accompanying sensibilities, but Nas makes it look a gold-plated cakewalk. Watch [...]

K'NAAN is one of those artists that can move between ultra mainstream appeal and gutter street shit.  One minute he's philosophizing on world freedom and expression, the next he's talking about knifing you in a dark alley, or storming your borders with some pirates, all set to an upbeat rhythm and pop guitars.  Here's another example of such on "Nothing To Lose", which co-stars Nas.  Pretty fresh.
