Life Is Good has gotten critical acclaim from many this year. Nas seems to be having a good year, despite all the legal troubles and his divorce from Kelis . This song indicates the lessons he's learned from his relationships and what he hopes to accomplish the next time. Check it out below.

Nas drops the video for his track "Bye Baby" that features on his recently released Life Is Good album. In the ode to his ex-wife Kelis it sees him pour his heart out and look over their past together and everything they had. A pretty deep visual for such a deep subject matter. Life Is Good , the startlingly good Nas album, ends with "Bye Baby," in which the rapper bids farewell to his ex-wife, the singer Kelis. It's not a spiteful or angry song; it's fond and pensive and full of perspective, not exactly something you hear too often in breakup raps. And the new video, from director Aristotle, keeps that theme going, showing Nas getting drunk on memories and signing divorce settlements. Nas gets personal in his video for "Bye Baby," a song about the relationship between him and his ex-wife, Kelis , and his coming to terms with the divorce. Featuring Kelis' green wedding dress, he says goodbye to her (and her milkshake) one last time. "Bye Baby" appears on Nas' most recent album, Life is Good . ( Pitchfork )

The new Nas album is in stores now and here's a new set of visuals for one of my favorite tracks on the project. Nas touches on the difficult divorce from Kelis on "Bye Baby". To brighten things up, the video features Aaron Hall. I was just asking my wife (sorry Nas) what happened to Aaron. Glad to see Nas reached out and got him in the video. Check it out.

The past week brought about a bit of buzz for the release of Nas' latest video for "Bye Baby". The final track on Life Is Good also happens to by my favorite from the album, so it is great to get some visual representation to accompany it. With Salaam Remi and Noah "403 Shebib behind the boards, and Nas on his grown man lyrical tip, there wasn't much that could go wrong with this track. As is the case with these crisp visuals as well. Going through a divorce is difficult enough to do privately, but Nas is brave enough to share his heartache in his new video for "Bye Baby", the new single off his chart-topping album Life Is Good . Lyrics depicting hip hop as a female is not a new concept, (The Roots' - 'Act Too' and Common's - 'I Used to Love H.E.R. spring to mind straight away) but Nas and Scarface approach this topic in what feels like a fresh style. There ain't that much love displayed in this track from two of hip hop's jilted lovers, which is a leak from Khaled's new album 'Kiss the Ring'. Earlier today we highlighted 15 dope DJ albums asides from those from DJ Khaled. After hearing Arlissa's "Hard To Love Somebody", Nas decided to fly the singer/ songwriter out to LA to record an alternative rap version of the song in person. At just nineteen years old, Arlissa was one when Illmatic was released but she is familiar with Nas' work thank to an ex who was obsessed by Nas. Having gained the Nas sign of approval Arlissa's going to be one to watch! "Hard To Love Somebody" is released on 30th September.

London Records have announced plans to release a unique, one-off collaboration by Grammy-nominated hip-hop legend Nas and stunning South London newcomer Arlissa . "Hard To Love Somebody" is due out on September 30, 2012, and features remixes by 88 Keys (who most recently produced 'No Church in the Wild') and celebrated DJ and production duo The Nextmen (Plan B, Paul Epworth).
