Above is the rather deep album cover for Nas' forthcoming LP, Life Is God . According to a video revealing the artwork, the green wedding dress pictured was the only item left by his ex-wife/singer Kelis after their divorce. The video, posted below, also sees Nas recounting his recent run-in with the IRS and canceled concert in Africa after the promoter was kidnapped. Life Is Good hits stores on July 17th via Def Jam.

Nas released the single "Daughters" last month, and now here we have the official video...still loving the positive message on this track. Truthfully most hip hop videos fall way short of anything that can be considered “art”, and usually take on the cliche of barely naked girls, alcohol, and cars. Nasir Jones is unlike most rappers though, and really helps put out an awesome and unique concept that can really hit home with a lot of people. Every single lyric bleeds with honesty and uncertainty, and it’s a great thing to hear when rappers can let loose their “bad boy” persona, and be extremely emotional about the ones they care about. New visuals from Nas off his upcoming album Life is Good. Funny how I don't hear this track played on the radio as much as "Bees in the Trap." SMH.

My favorite rapper, Nas, hooks up with my favorite music director, Chris Robinson , to create this dope visual for his latest single, " Daughters ." Dope concept on this one and I like how Destiny's cameo wasn't forced. Although Nasir's baby's mom was " disappointed " in him for penning a song about their daughter's most recent public troubles, I'm digging the song and think the video came out perfect. I can't even begin to tell y'all how hard this track hit me when I first heard it & the thoughts that were running through my head just now as I watched the video for the 1st time.
