For certain Coachella fans who were guessing and/or hoping drummer Nathan Followill's surgery would lead to a cancellation and replacement headliner, this news is a bit of a bore. According to a press release, the surgery on Followill's torn right labrum and bicep will not affect Kings of Leon's gig headlining Friday night at Coachella. T his week's verbal tussle between Ryan Murphy and Kings of Leon should qualify as 2011's biggest embarrassment so far for both sides. Round two unofficially began a day or two ago when Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill responded (via Twitter, naturally) to Glee creator Ryan Murphy's public dressing down of the band, who refused to let Murphy feature it's hit "Use Somebody" in an episode of the show. It seems that after Kings of Leon refused to be covered on Glee, the show's producer, Ryan Murphy started a bit of a feud with the band by calling them ignorant to arts education. Of course Kings of Leon drummer, Nathan Followill, wasn't going to stand for it so he tweeted the following about Ryan Murphy's comment: "Dear Ryan Murphy, let it go.
