Everyone's favorite musical cult, The Polyphonic Spree , took a break from the current tour to stop by the AV Club offices in Chicago to do a cover of Neil Young's classic song Heart of Gold . The cover is a part of the ongoing AV Club Undercover series that is now in it's 3rd season. Watch the band manage to fit all members on the tiny stage below.

Today we get our third taste of Neil Young and Crazy Horse's forthcoming Americana LP with the release of the video for Clementine. Once again the group puts their signature grunge-y stamp on a folk classic which has become a popular children's song over the years. In keeping in line with the previously released clips for Americana tracks Oh Susannah  and Jesus' Chariot (She'll Be Comin' Around The Mountain) , this video features "found" footage from our nation's history that adds a perfect accompaniment to the music. "She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain" is one of the first songs every American kid learns. But in its original form, the song was a black spiritual about the welcome end of the world, and it didn't have that line about how she'll have to sleep with grandma when she comes. (Later, the song was repurposed to herald the arrival of Mary Harris "Mother" Jones, who worked to form labor unions in early 20th century Appalachian coal mining camps. Wikipedia !)
