The first thing you'll notice about Moon Bounce is that he has a ridiculously appropriate name. His tones and textures transport the listener to the stars and back, the pieces are layered with samples and synths loop that tangle in the most intricate of ways; it's fantastically disorientating at times. If you're expecting another "Youth Novels" then you're not going to get it. Although youth still plays a part on "Wounded Rhymes", lil' miss Lykke Li has gone and growed up, all smart and wise-like. At the time of writing I've listened to the album a fair few times and so far I'm just not that into it, but don't get me wrong there are some excellent songs, like the singles we've heard; "Get Some" , "I Follow Rivers" , and the non-single but still good "Love Out Of Lust" . Finally some new tunes from Lykke Li. She posted on her website a couple of weeks ago that she'd be releasing this on her site as a free download today and here it is. She also mentioned that it'd be on her new album that's coming out "early next year" that's as yet untitled. It's her first new song in almost a year when she released "Possibility" for the Twilight: New Moon soundtrack and it comes as a 73 single with the B-side "Paris Blue" and is also released digitally.
