New: Disclosure – “You and Me” Feat. Eliza Doolittle

Fresh off premiering their new track at Coachella, Disclosure officially released "You and Me" earlier today in the UK. "You and Me" brings along Eliza Doolittle providing the vocals that everyone has come to love. The song is similar to many of Disclosure's previous tracks but may very well be their best yet. Eliza Doolittle is wrapping up her sophmore album. She recently released a teaser song called, "Don't Call It Love When It's Really Life." Click to play: Disclosure ...

The Knocks – “Modern Hearts” ft. St. Lucia

The Knocks and St. Lucia together have to make for one of the best records of the year, undoubtedly. St. Lucia have been delivering on all the hype from 2012, but they this connection with The Knocks is probably one of the finest gems from the band. Easily, The Knocks make any song a pleasure to listen to. They stick to what they do best and it shows song in and song out.

New: We Are Falcon – “Second Go” & “Fever Nova”

Having been off the site for a month now, it's good to get back to listening to great bands. I've been waiting to post this delight of a band for some time now as their new tracks contain an easy-listening, yet hard-hitting rage of tunes. We Are Falcon, the London-based indie folk band, released their self-titled EP March 21st with their two biggest hits being "Second Go," and "Fever Nova." Each song is a delicate blend of folk and crafted ...

Album Review: Nantes’ ‘BeingsBeing’

Before you start reading our review, go below and start playing Nantes' "Avid." Let the music sink in. Nantes, a five-piece band from Sydney, have an uncanny way of becoming to a soundtrack-like tune in whatever 3-minute track you choose. Lead singer David Rogers is the defining voice of Nantes; with vocals that becoming a driving force of the synth-and-drum duo behind it. "Avid," the lead single of BeingsBeing, couldn't be any more of an eargasm. With past hits such ...

Ra Ra Riot – “When I Dream” (Pacific Air remix)

I've been selfishly holding back on posting this remix because of just how good this is. Though, it may have been because I kept playing the song over and over again. Formerly known as KO-KO. Pacific Air have been killing it with their EPs and remixes. We caught them live in Santa Ana the Griffith Observatory and they're better than advertised. These SoCal mates hooked up on their touring mates', Ra Ra Riot, latest hit, "When I Dream;" off the ...

Phoenix – “Entertainment”

Phoenix - Entertainment (homemade lyric video)
Phoenix' new album, Bankrupt!, is scheduled to be released on April 23rd, and this is the first full-length track the band has released. Phoenix released their album artwork and tracklist not too long ago but if you've been dying to sample their new tunes, you're finally able to. "Entertainment" is a synth-driven craze yet simple enough to keep us itching for more.

Hoodie Allen – “Fame Is For Assholes” (FIFA) Ft. Chiddy Bang

Hoodie Allen - "Fame Is For A*****es" feat. Chiddy (Official Video)
Hoodie Allen is a non-stop music-dropping machine. Seriously, when does the guy ever stop making music? Hoodie dropped the first track ("Cake Boy") to the Crew Cuts mixtape last week. Today, he's dropped the music video to "Fame is For Assholes" which has a verse from Chiddy of Chiddy Bang. Any track where Chidera hits on the verse is a dope track. Crew Cuts is due out on Wednesday.

Paul Banks, The Neighbourhood, KOKO Camden Gig Review

Essex born, New York bread and hypnotically voiced Interpol frontman, Paul Banks played a solo show in Camden, north London last week with support from California based indie band The Neighbourhood and I had the privilege to attend. Banks is known for his haunting vocals and melancholic lyrics and after spending the last year listening to his work with Interpol, I couldn't wait to see him live, as well as lose my KOKO virginity. KOKO is a music venue that I've ...

Carl Barat – War of the Roses (Demo)

Work has been intense for the past couple of weeks, but this new Carl Barat (former Libertines co-front man with Pete Doherty) demo has just been released (see below) and I had to share my excitement! Listening to War of the Roses has given me high hopes for his forthcoming solo album.  With the Babyshambles (Doherty) Vs Dirty Pretty Things (Barat) debate still ongoing and rumors of Doherty also releasing a new solo album, it'll be interesting to see each ...

MS MR – “Fantasy”

NY duo MS MR have introduced their first single off Fantasy, their forthcoming debut album and single bearing the same name. "Fantasy" is a very upbeat, catchy and especially exciting song - almost like you're racing toward fantasy (no more lame jokes for me).

New: The Strokes – “One Way Trigger”

It's that time where every band imaginable is debuting new music ahead of the music festival season. Hey, we're not complaining as long as we get more good music. This isn't the band's first single from the yet-unnamed upcoming album, but we like it nonetheless.

Disclosure – “White Noise” ft. AlunaGeorge

London duo Disclosure pair up with another London duo in AlunaGeorge for a new single in "White Noise." AlunaGeoge consists of Aluna doing vocals and George in production. Aluna lends her voice in this minimal-electro pop tune that's due out on March 24. via/

Peace – Wraith

I wasn’t really feeling Peace and their Delicious EP; it probably had something to do with the fact that they were just another four-piece Vampire Weekend-wannabe English indie guitar band. But then they released their song Wraith (the fact that it was produced by Arctic Monkeys producer, Jim Abiss, was probably something to do with my change of heart). Their debut album (title still to be confirmed) will be released March 25th, but luckily Wraith was released on the 13th of January ...

New: Justin Timberlake – “Suit & Tie” Ft. Jay-Z

New: 2AM Club – “Too Fucked Up To Call”

2AM Club - Too Fucked Up To Call
Here's another gem from 2am Club. They've been getting better and better. From their days of singing and trying a little too hard to rap, they've been able to find a balance in their hip-hop/R&B style. "Mary" was a good step toward the group becoming more prominent, and now I think they've really been able to create their own distinct sound. Check out "Too Fucked Up Too Call:"
