Roman Flowrs has been dropping new tracks every Friday in anticipation of his upcoming project #OneHellofAPromo set to drop next month. This past Friday "Love Story" dropped and has been on heavy rotation. This track was produced by C-Sick and deserves its plays. We'll be posting the new tracks until the tape drops. I met Joey this year at SXSW down in Austin, TX. Joey's personal style is definitely something that stands out at a quick glance. Ever since then, I’ve been keeping up with any new music he puts out. It’s obvious Phil Ade is good at what he does. The Maryland native dropped a video yesterday from his upcoming mixtape R.O.S.E., to be available sometime next month. I know we have some gamers reading Ruby Hornet, right? I'm super excited for the upcoming PlayStation 4, especially after Sony officially announced the console at a press conference back in February. However, questions arose when the console itself wasn't publicly revealed. It appears that Sony's ready to show off the new console on June 10th ahead of this year's E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo). In an attempt to appeal to younger generations, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer confirmed the purchase of blogging service Tumblr for a startling $1.1 billion. Tumblr, a site known for its assortment of GIF-heavy blog posts, is popular amongst younger crowds. Mayer wrote a Tumblr post herself, promising "not to screw it up." A good sign of Yahoo's promise is retaining Tumblr founder David Karp in the same role as CEO. Karp also assured no major changes would be made, stating, "Our team isn't changing. Our roadmap isn't changing. Tumblr gets better faster with more resources to draw from." [...]

As some of those familiar with my alter-ego know, I'm not a fan of horror movies  at all . I get too anxious and nervous when facing suspense and gore. The first  V/H/S , which you can catch on Netflix Instant, was a fan favorite in 2012 film festivals. The premise of the two films revolve around the discovery of VHS cassettes that depict ridiculously gruesome stuff. It's been almost a decade since the last  Chronicles of Riddick film (and five years since Vin Diesel has played a character not named Dom Toretto), but coming this fall, Diesel is set to don the goggles again with the third film in the franchise,  Riddick . The film adaptation of Max Brooks'  World War Z is shaping up to be a huge blockbuster for Paramount Pictures with a reported $125m-$200m budget. Starring Brad Pitt ( Moneyball ), the film follows Pitt's character across the United States as he attempts to find a way to stop the zombie outbreak, known colloquially as the titular "World War Z." However, based on previously-released trailers, it seems as if the Marc Forster ( Quantum of Solace )-directed film strays away from the book's tone. The schedule for this year's Lollapalooza is live! The popular festival, taking place August 2nd - 4th, has been growing steadily since it settled in Chicago a few years ago. Some highlights from this year's festival include Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, New Order, and Wavves. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of music festivals; they're expensive, always outside and dirty, smell bad, consist of schedule conflicts, and full of drunk and/or high people. Going to the theater is a great experience. Outside of the comfortability of watching movies on your couch in your pajamas, nothing can really beat going to a theater, watching a movie on the big screen, and being surrounded by large speakers that make you feel like you're actually  in the scene. Theaters have always tried to better enhance the moviegoing experience for audiences, such as the implementation of D-Box seats which move and react to the scene on the screen, simulating explosions, car crashes, etc. Unfortunately, theaters haven't been able to find a way to complement the basic experience [...]

If you've seen them live,  you're already aware of their gritty, in-your-face style. Their latest drop, "Look of Hate (Remix)," is actually a remixed version of the song they perform on stage. Alfonso Cuaron is one of those directors who, I feel, hasn't really received the proper dues he should from audiences. Sure,  Y Tu Mama Tambien won a handful of awards and nominated for an Oscar,  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban  pushed the  Harry Potter film franchise towards a more mature vision (let alone a decidedly creative turn that sometimes clashed with the previous two films in the series), and  Children of Men is arguably one of the most underrated sci-fi films to come out of the past decade. Local hip-hop duo Dinero Dynasty go all in with Local Ave , their latest 'tape featuring Martin $ky, Kembe X, Lili K, and more. The singles raised a lot of awareness for the project but now they prove those songs were no flukes with the rest of the tracks, which are downloadable below.

Just when it was thought that the future of the  Jurassic Park franchise was safe, we're reminded that nothing's ever really safe in Hollywood. The 3D re-release of  Jurassic Park , which has made more than $53m worldwide, was intended to re-integrate the fantastical park that brought dinosaurs back to life into audiences' memories.
