Andrew Bird 's most current album Noble Beast has been offered in a deluxe packaging with an instrumental album entitled Useless Creatures since 2009, but this October 25th Fat Possum will release Useless Creatures for the first time as a stand-alone CD/LP. And while it's not Bird's best work to date, the "ambient experimental album" is certainly worth checking out if you're at all interesting in crazy violin loops and blissful ambiance. This year at Hidden Track, we concocted a little experiment for our year-end Best Albums of 2009 list.
