We warned you about Push & Shove , the impending 6th studio album from No Doubt back in June . read more
We've gotten a couple tastes of what's to come on No Doubt's forthcoming sixth LP, their first in 11 years - specifically by way of singles " Settle Down " and the title track, " Push And Shove ." But now, we can sample the whole album. Sort of. Push And Shove is currently available for preview via iTunes, where you can check out 90-second segments of each of the album's 15 songs. Yeah, the songs basically fade out at the exact moment you forget you're listening to a snippet, but hey, this is a business, [...]

Diplo shared this new track he pieced together with No Doubt and his Major Lazer people. Seems like a nice way for Gwen and company stay relevant with the current radio and stay true to their original sound. Their reggae and ska influence has always been a major part of their sound. Diplo is getting ridiculous money at this point. NO DOUBT FEAT. MAJOR LAZER & BUSY SIGNAL - PUSH & SHOVE
Here's another new single from the reunited No Doubt, the Push And Shove title track which the group premiered today on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. Diplo is along for the ride and the producer instills some energy into the anthem. Bassist Tony Kanal: "It's our 'Bohemian Rhapsody'" (via RS ). Any way the wind blows, I guess. Stream it below. No Doubt just receieved an insane remix to their single, "Settle Down." Major Lazer reworked the band's first single since announcing their comeback album, Push and Shove. The track already has a reggae vibe, but Major Lazer dropps their Moombahton mix to make sick dancehall banger.
A lot has changed since No Doubt sold an album to the public 11 years ago. For one, Jimmy Fallon went from SNL cut-up to cutting edge talk show host. For another, Diplo became a thing, as did his Switch-collabo project Major Lazer, as did the overarching blog-baiting remix economy. No Doubt is checking all of 20122s promo boxes accordingly: They've played Fallon , they've collaborated with Major Lazer , and here, Gwen's men present an obligatory (and lots of fun) dancehall Major Lazer remix of their new wave single " Settle Down ." Pop your [...]

Stereogum No Doubt's last studio album came out 11 years ago, but they're coming back in fall with the new LP Push And Shove , and they worked with Major Lazer on it. Today, they debut first single "Settle Down," a lithe and bubbly new-wave track that somehow lasts for six minutes. The track echoes Santigold in the same way that Santigold's music echoes No Doubt, if that makes any sense at all. The video, directed by their "Don't Speak" collaborator Sophie Muller, should be [...]

Are you ready for some new beatz from the NO DOUBT ? The ska-poppers are back (soon) and have just announced their comeback single goes by the name, UNDONE . The new song is called "Undone" btw. I love it. -Tom To be continued.

A different No Doubt song came on today while I was eating at McAlister's Deli today and I remembered how good this song was and wanted to share. Basically I only like half these songs, b/c the other half are crappy radio songs. But I'll have to admit, if you're having a Halloween party tonight, all these songs should be on your playlist. So just go ahead and download the [...]
This post is a "QuickPick". QuickPicks are my attempt at getting all of the music that's sent to me that I like (or just music I like but have no words for because it's so awesome), out into the dubya dots. Any time I get sent music that I like I "star" it in Gmail and then go back and listen to it a day later. If it's still as good as it was a day before then it goes up on the site, but sometimes I get backlogged and can't get through writing [...]

It's sadly been a while since there's been some news to report about Shirley Manson. Earlier this month in a post on her official Facebook page , Shirley discussed the devastating past few years of her personal life and "why all of a sudden I feel like making music again": I am faced with the prospect of reality again. And there is no time machine to fix the blips in the present. There is only me in my life and what is left of my time on earth. And suddenly I feel [...]
(this isn't really a personal blog and I don't really post anything about my personal life on here, but this is too amazing to not share) ...that this is me onstage at the No Doubt concert in Edmonton on July 16th. Yes, that's me doing pushups (that suck) with Gwen, hugging her, and kissing her cheek. It was so surreal! My dreams have come to life. *RARE* No Doubt - Total Hate (Live @ Tinley Park, 1996) [...]

Just like the past few posts, I've definitely been meaning to get this one done a nearly four weeks ago! Right after I came back from Bonnaroo I had a few concerts all in a row. Yes, I know, I am a concert fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiend. But I live for them. So yeah, a quick recap of Phoenix and No Doubt...and more recaps from concerts like Camera Obscura, Les Hangers, and Noisia to come after Jazz Fest mania and Fantasia awesomeness end! Ugh sorry for being so late with this stuff. But, I am not very punctual...so I guess it's quite fitting [...]

MUSIC NEWS - The Sounds return with their third album, Crossing The Rubicon and new tour news (joining No Doubt on most dates). ...Rubicon is a career defining twelve song set that shows us the type of growth that can only come from a band in total command of their talents. Their synth-pop, guitar driven sound still takes center stage, but there's an ambition and sophistication to both the songs and production that reveals new layers of depth to the overall aesthetic. [...]
