Canada is doing big things with music because tons of great artists, bands, and producers are coming from our Northern friends, including DJ Imanos . He's created some electro/house bangers, trap, and more. His latest effort is with a producer named Faustix from Denmark and NYC singer Noosa , who I first got wind of on this excellent Ghost Beach jam. On "Moonlight" the trio combine electro and trap into an addicting beat, plus Noosa 's crisp vocals in the mix is the right touch. Stream and download below. [...]

Ghost Beach - Close Enough (ft. Noosa) February keeps on rocking as New York’s tropical/grit/electro pop duo Ghost Beach re-surfaces with this beauty in anticipation of their release later this year. These guys are just epic and so easy to love, pouring so much energy and depth of sound into every song. I can’t wait to hear their full release. // https://soundcloud.com/crazyhe artrecords/ghost-beach-close-e nough-feat

Here's a riddle. How in the world have I not come across Ghost Beach's music until now? I'm honestly puzzled. I'm absolutely obsessed with anything tropical, and this band definitely fits that label. Ghost Beach has been on Hype Machine's popular charts more times than I care to count, and still, this is the first time they've crossed my ears. I'm baffled. Well, better late than never, I suppose. So just in case you've yet to hear the magic of Ghost Beach for yourself, this post is dedicated to you. "Close Enough" is a jam and a half. [...]

The full-length Ghost Beach album is still untitled and without a release date, but "Close Enough" is reason to start anticipating. Avoiding the sometimes too cutesy nature of the male-female vocal collaborations, Ghost Beach enlists Noosa for a high-flying, synthed up jam with an anthemic chorus that wouldn't sound out of place in the '80s. Anyone else hear a little " In Your Eyes " vibe? Download it for free here .

the less you give, the more I want — so foolishly." The Ghost Beach guys are my dudes! From first finding out who they were via our EMPT dropbox folder of fresh sonic goodies, to a personal invite from them on Twitter to check them out at Pianos here in NYC, these guys have won me over time and time again with their music, their performances and their magnificently warm energy. It's refreshing to see artists that have a true love and passion for a genre of music [...]

New York electronica duo Ghost Beach wash their latest track, "Close Enough", with waves of '80s synths and beams of sunny pop. But it's not just shimmery, glitzy fun — add in a dose of pining lyrics and the luring, light vocals of fellow concrete jungle native Noosa , and a bonafide electro-pop love song is born, beats skittery and wild like uncontrollable heart palpitations. Listen in below. "Close Enough" is out via Crazy Heart Records. Grab a free download here .

Here's a new February 2013 Single by Ghost Beach featuring Noosa . Produced by Nic Hard . The track is so energy driven, you feel like singing along before you even know the words. We were recently lucky enough to see this guys in Echo Park at none other than "The Echo" in Los Angeles California on Feb. 11th. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of the live performance. They have so many good tracks, and I don't know if it was the sound equipment or the fact that it was [...]

The rising electro-pop duo Ghost Beach are ready to share another hypnotizing collaborative track. Coming off from pairing with San Francisco’s summertime enthusiast Viceroy on ' While We’re In Love ', the tropical duo have teamed up with the lovely and much featured on The Music Ninja artist, Noosa. 'Close Enough' is a nostalgic track, reminiscent of 802s and its bright summer days as the impeccable production (by Nic Hard of The Bravery and Aberdeen City) lays a foundation for the vocals to glide through the track. This new original track is off their next full length currently [...]

Sure Valentine's Day is over but why stop the love now? Grab your cutie and enjoy the new single from Ghost Beach that features the lovely voice of Noosa . Chalk full of synth riffs, "Close Enough" brings a splash of exciting to everyone's slow burning love playlist.

Ghost Beach are back at it with "Close Enough," their first original release of 2013. The track, which features vocals from New York songstress Noosa , steps away from the band's self-described tropical grit-pop sound in favor a Calvin Harris-style dance club banger. The duo's traditional soaring synths are still there, along with male/female vocal harmonies that we've yet to see in any of their work. The perfect soundtrack your long weekend and beyond. Ghost Beach are in the midst of a west coast tour and play The Satellite in LA on Monday night. [...]

Ghost Beach are the latest pop pioneers to set the internet ablaze with only a couple singles floating around and without any major label backing. The New York-based duo of Josh Ocean and Eric "Doc" Mendelsohn take their '80s influences one step further with Ghost Beach

You know that scene in Zoolander when Ben Stiller pops out of the coal mine and yells "Surprise!" and you kind of cry laughing? I swear I've just have got into a rhythm knowing each week another wondrous Ghost Beach remix is coming my way as part of their Remix EP and then suddenly, surprise! New Ghost Beach! And it is pretty much everything I need right now. Coming back to the office after vacation and getting bamboozled with emails? NOT fun. But this new song with fellow New Yorker Noosa ? SO FUN. It's like [...]
