O'Brother's new video for "Lo" starts off with some ally-rat vandals running amock and pounding whiskey before things get real weird when they stumble into an abandoned building. One of the better videos that've been released this year for an awesome song off an awesome album.

Hard to believe that it's been almost six months since O'Brother released their first full-length, Garden Window —it's a record I still listen to at least every other day and I'm always discovering new and unexpected things lurking in the shadows of the music. Given that time, I'm a little surprised it took so long for the band to produce their first video, but after watching it I'll say it was undoubtedly worth the wait. Volatile, whiskey-chugging youths committing random acts of violence and vandalism in a cold, desolate industrial town. Sounds rad, right? An abandoned church [...]

After being successfully resurrected in 2011, Music Midtown will return to Atlanta's Piedmont Park from September 21-22nd. Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters top this year's lineup and they'll be joined by Florence and the Machine, The Avett Brothers, T.I., Girl Talk, Ludacris, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, LP, and O'Brother. Early-bird general admission tickets are $55 for one-day or $100 for two-day. After that allotment sells out, the price will rise to $65 for one-day and $120 for two-day.
