A song for the broken-hearted. This has been my anthem for the past few weeks. On constant repeat, in my playlist, then in my head. As the R&B song of 2011 eventually gets the video treatment (with Nabil Elderkin directing) it's about time I shared this gem. Watch Frank Ocean 's cult track right below, and enjoy another cover version released by Eliza Doolittle last week. --- Comme d'habitude, je préfère attendre que les phénomènes s'essoufflent pour bien les digérer. Le conformisme en matière de musique éveille en moi plus de soupçon que de curiosité. [...]
Frank Ocean | Swim Good Weil Ghetto und Panda wie Rolf Eden und Bling sind. Realer Shit.
FRANK OCEAN [swim good] from nabil elderkin on Vimeo .
Frank Ocean is easily one of my most favorite member of of the Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA) crew. His talent level is exceptional and the Nostalgia, Ultra album is just a solid listen from beginning to end. For a crew that's not really known for clean glossy shiny things, this video [...]
Frank Ocean is one of those rare songwriters that can talk about a sentiment pretty vaguely, and still make it feel deeply personal. It's a talent that made Nostalgia, Ultra the powerful, widely communicable album it became, and "Swim Good" is a perfect example. Why or from what Frank is running (swimming) isn't always clear, but the feeling is one that resonates either way. Granted, adding samurai swords, exploding vintage whips and gorgeous landscapes add some concrete content, but the storyline in Nabil's beautifully directed clip for "Swim Good" isn't exactly easy to follow either. In any case, [...]
I'm gone on record verbally and pretty sure I've put it in writing, but here goes... Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra is one of my favorite albums (mixtapes) from this year. Safe to say it will be making our list. With that being said, Frank Ocean hooks up again with Nabil Elderkin for his track, Swim Good .
In two days, Frank Ocean has dropped as many videos via his Tumblr for tracks from Nostalgia, Ultra . And they are… weird. Produced and directed by High Five Collective and Nabil Elderkin, last week’s “Thinking About You” video featured—somewhat surprisingly given the more traditionally romantic lyrics—two intense child death scenes, a crazy contact lens-wearing shaman, some teepees, and Ocean himself in a brief cameo as a nurse. So when “Swim Good” surfaced this morning, I wasn’t surprised to find Ocean, dressed as a Jordans-wearing samurai, pushing an old school orange stretch limo along a [...]
Gotta say it's getting hard keeping up with Frank Ocean and the videos he releases. 2 vids in the past 2 weeks, not bad at all. Here is the latest visual to drop from his highly reputable mixtape 'Nostalgia, ULTRA'.
You can't say we weren't expecting it. The Odd Future crooner and overall R&B songwriting legend-in-the-making Frank Ocean is going hard in the paint right now. Never mind the two huge guest spots on one of the year's most highly anticipated hip-hop records ( Kanye West & Jay-Z 's Watch The Throne ), the New Orleans native is now the R&B and pop community's figure-at-large at the moment with all eyes fixated firmly on the 23 year old. To somewhat satiate the hoards of now-salivating fans & on-lookers, two new creatively [...]
One of my favorite tracks from Frank's Nostalgia, Ultra finally gets an official visual. Frank Ocean has single handidly been one of this years most successful singers, along with The Weeknd. If you can't appreciate this song, give it another shot. Sick vocals and a dope song over an incredible beat is always a fix for success. @SeanCornholio
I can't tell you how many unofficial videos that claim to be from Frank Ocean I've seen. I think we're at the point with YouTube and Vimeo and the availiblity of cameras such...

One of my favorite tracks of 2011 now has some official visuals to accompany it, and they're bizarre to say the least. We're working with a panda mask, a samurai sword, and some car explosions in this one. Keep doing you Frank. Shout out to Jimbo for holding the site down on Friday while I live the dream down in tax-free Delaware for the weekend. Tweet
If you thought that last Frank Ocean video was hard to follow then you might have some trouble wrapping your head around this one. Long story short: Ocean grabs a samurai sword, kills somebody, blows up his car, puts on a panda mask, and then stares at a bird. Directed by Nabil Elderkin , the same dude who did the video for "Novacane". Hey, sometimes a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
With visuals shot by Nabil Frank Ocean unleashes the official video for his hit record "Swim Good" off his highly acclaimed nostagia:ULTRA project.
Directed by NABIL, who also directed Frank's Novacane video, this is another great visual for the second single off "Nostalgia, Ultra."
Frank Ocean let loose another video this week and this time for his current single 'Swim Good', off of his critically acclaim 'Nostalgia, Ultra' mixtape. The video is directed by Nabil Elderkin, who also worked with Frank on the visuals for “Novacane”. Check It Out And Enjoy. Follow me @ Ebonicss Click here to view the embedded video. Swim Good
