I was just having a convo yesterday with #YSAFam artist, Eye Traveler , about how Frank Ocean missed his window to become explosively great after WTT . Now we get visuals from Frank for a track that appears to have no name. The trailer gives us a solid minute and a half of a never before heard track from Mr. Ocean and then a message at the end that simple states, "Channel Orange, 7.17.12." Frank Ocean has the whole mysterious vibe down pat. Earlier this morning, the Odd Future -affiliated crooner posted a short snippet of a brand new song onto his Tumblr . He left no comment and from the video, we're left to guess that the new song is called "TV" and will appear on a new release entitled Channel Orange , out on July 17th. The song features layered vocals and a dark, glitchy synth in the background. The two minute snippet features, unsurprisingly for Ocean, a BMW station wagon. Listen [...]

Jay Z and Kanye dropped the visuals to their track "No Church in the Wild" featuring Frank Ocean on some dope vocals. The visuals in this video are that of an epicly dramatic street battle that definitely reflect upon recent riots such as those in Greece. It's a well shot video definitely worthy of multiple watches, check it above...

This is as raw as you can get. Frank Ocean performs a brand new song called “Summer Retains”  all alone on his keyboard. Despite not memorizing the lyrics 100 percent, this beautiful ballad, shows how incredible Ocean’s voice is. I can’t wait to hear the recorded version of this. It looks like Frank Ocean is emptying out the shelves with another unreleased track. This time, Ocean delivers us, Math . Even with this being an older track of Frank's, his sound is still great and definitive. Check it out below.

Frank Ocean has plenty of old material, apparently, and it keeps surfacing. This song dates back well before his Nostalgia release and I read was a possible track for the Backstreet Boys to pick up at one point. If you're watching Loiter Squad , you can see these OFWGKTA kids aren't pigeon-holing themselves as just singers or MC's. While Tyler may turn out to be more suited for comedy, Frank can earn a ton of dough ghost-writing for big names, as well as being a solid artist. I bet Busy feels like a proud [...]

Some unreleased Frank Ocean to help you out this Monday morning. “PDA” sees the Odd Future man sound way more mainstream than usual. This would make sense due to the fact, that this was a reference track for the Backstreet Boys (!) back in ‘09.  A bit funny how the careers of the two are so much different in 2012. 

An unreleased track from Odd Future affiliate Frank Ocean 's days as Lonnie Breaux has surfaced, and it's a straight up R&B pop jam, a far cry from the raw story-telling style that he employed on Nostalgia, Ultra . Interestingly (or maybe amusingly?!) this was originally a reference track for the Backstreet Boy's 2009 album This Is Us (you can hear their version here ), and it's a breezy, bouncy radio-friendly jaunt describing all the places they're going to make public displays of affection. Frank Ocean can PDA all over me anytime he wants. Wait, does that even make sense? Whatev. This song is dope. It's actually an unleashed track from Ocean's earlier days, when he was going by the alias of Lonny Breaux.  His sound has definitely evolved since then but I'm still loving this pop infused R&B.
