It's a little different than compared to his older stuff. It's almost got more of a rock edge to it than the simple guitar-folk tunes he presented in the past. It's hard to believe that a whole two years have passed since Dan Mangan released his formative and fantastic Nice, Nice, Very Nice LP. I'm not really sure where the time went, but Mangan seemed to make the most of it, somehow finding the time between touring commitments to write and record a brand new album.
