Someone should just give Ok Go the Godlike Geniuses of Video award already. The latest example of their inventiveness in the visual musical form is their new one for 'Needing/Getting'. I'm not even going to try to explain what's happening in this video, it'd not do the band justice. Watch it below and prepare for the smile on your face. (Also, it sure beats Spector's 'Chevy Thunder' out of the water, I think you will agree.) Click here to view the embedded [...]
I'd say the title of this post is pretty accurate today. OK GO, the band that has brought you some of the most creative music videos has returned with a new one for their song "Needing/Getting." The band drives a car around a track, while hitting over one thousand different instruments to play their song. What results is a ridiculously well choreographed music video that is undoubtedly their most daring (and expensive) yet. The song doesn't sound exactly like the version the band recorded in the studio, so I have included that version for your listening pleasure. "Danger! Videoactive" indeed. [...]

OK Go : Official | Facebook | Twitter WTF OK Go?! What the f)(ck?! I'll stand by my one and only real experience when meeting these dudes and I'll have to say that they're some of the nicest musicians I've ever met in the industry, but by the gods, they're f)(ckin' oddballs. Apparently they're really theater geeks at heart, which explains a lot[nothing against theater geeks. i was one. if i was never in that musical i would of never went to prom w/ my High School dream girl]. Before I [...]
If you glanced up from devouring your buffalo wings on Sunday you may have caught a glimpse of who you could have sworn was OK Go in a Chevy ad. You were right. (About the wings and the sighting.) Here is the full video and it packs way more punch then a Super Bowl game. PLUS: no stunt doubles! Way to keep upping your game OK Go! And thanks, I guess, to Chevy.

The internet has heralded in a new Golden Age of music videos, and GRAMMY award winner, OK Go , has consistently been on the leading edge pushing its boundaries ever farther outside the conventional and expected. They took the lip-dub style video and elevated the style to Gus Van Sant levels with ' This Too Shall Pass ', created an entire internet meme and reintroduced us all the Rube Goldberg Their latest video for 'Needing/Getting' has only one expected thing in it, in that it's in no way the expected music video. Their [...]
It's hard to object to a new video from OK Go . The new video for "Needing/Getting" is another amazing piece for the band. They have taken things from choreography in the backyard to something else entirely. Watch them drive through their song (literally) above.
These dudes annihilate any kind of competition in the music video scene. They always have. In my mind, they're music isn't life-altering by any means, but their music videos are - so it makes you like the music. You follow? Tweet
Oh, look another fancy OK Go music video that is heavily filled with sponsorship. Just kididng, we are so excited about any new innovaitve and creative video from these guys, as no band out there puts out anything better. In this clip, they take a Chevy Sonic and make the car an instrument. The band made up over 1,000 homemade instruments on the track, as the car hits ever single last one. If you don't think is truly awesome, then you have some serious life questions to ask yourself. Ok Go - "Needing/Getting"

2. OK GO y el Chevrolet Sonic [...]

Tweet OK Go are as notible for great video's as they are for great music, the new video for " Needing/Getting " is far from an exception and is actually one car commercial worth watching, check it out below. Connect with OK Go - Facebook | Website | Twitter | Youtube
Click here to view the embedded video. If you haven't gotten to see any of the music video insanity that is OK Go, I'd be wildly surprised. What else is wildly surprising is how they consistently one up themselves again and again and again. In this video, Kulash and the boys shot outside in the desert with a Chevrolet Sonic outfitted with pneumatic arms designed to play instruments as they drove along a two mile course. As they drive along, the arms smash into objects and the guys sing along in the car. It's [...]

Always gotta cause a scene.

![[NEW] OK Go- Needing/Getting video](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4041558_lg.jpg)
Ok Go has done it again. Since their formation in 1998, OK Go has been known equally for their video musings and note worthy breed of pop rock. Their video for "Here It Goes Again" won a grammy and set the bar really high for any follow up videos the band might put out... and they've consistently met their goal. The video for their new single "Needing/Getting" is no different. The video took around four months to set up, four days to shoot, and over fourteen hundred instruments for the car to play. [...]

OK Go in "Needing/Getting" OK Go have a history of creating amazing music videos. Their latest for "Needing/Getting" is no exception. The guys teamed up with Chevy for the Brian L. Perkins -directed clip, which finds the band singing the track while driving through a musical obstacle course in one insanely modded Chevy Sonic in a desert in California. The car plays over 1,000 instruments in perfect harmony as OK Go lead singer Damian Kulash drives through the course. The spectacular video took four months of preparation and [...]
OK Go proves yet again that they are true innovators when it comes to music videos. In the video for "Needing/Getting," a track off their most recent album, Of The Blue Color Of The Sky , the band goes off-roading in a modified Chevy hitting over one thousand instruments placed along the way. Get ready for a crash course in amazing. STREAM: OK Go - "Needing/Getting"
Ok Go drove around in the desert in a Chevy Sonic for their latest video. Yes, it's both a viral video, a music video and a commercial for a car company. Only in Ok Go's world would they hit the sweet spot within the Venn Diagram. (That sentence really makes no sense, but also all the sense?) Car and Driver has an excellent behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video. [via Doobybrain ]
