Here’s the Travis Peterson-directed video for Ariel Pink’s Mature Themes sunshine fix, “Only in Dreams” (via GVSB ). There’s a lot of chatter about where this album falls in Rosenberg’s creative pie chart. For me, this is the best thing he’s created to date, especially when he’s making singles as great as “Only in Dreams” sound so effortless and genuine.

Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti drops a new, summery track from their forthcoming album, Mature Themes . The guitar parts here have a bit of a sweet, 60s pop rock edge to 'em, but that's sort of tapered with Pink's usual dose of oddball vocals and general weirdness. Of course, not a bad thing. Rather, a great thing. Look for Mature Themes via 4AD Records on August 21st.

As if being conjoined twins doesn't pose enough of a challenge, physical transparency tends to further complicate matters. All female band from California, Dum Dum Girls were on the main stage last weekend for the holiday ticket to Peats Ridge Festival playing alongside many hometown favorites in this years event.
