Filed under: News , Video , Television OWN Just a few days ago, Oprah Winfrey's ' Oprah's Next Chapter ', the signature new show on her OWN network, premiered with Steven Tyler as the focus for the two hour show. The intimate interview was broken down into several parts and Tyler spoke candidly about his past relationships, his children, his career with Aerosmith and his drug addiction. [...]

Tweet vaso link This has been a fantastic year, not only for music, but also for me personally. I found an outlet for gratuitous and utterly pointless swearing (Fuck yeah!) in the world of indie music blogging. And Andy and Dave were nice enough to deal with these random outbursts and generous enough to give me a creative outlet (outside of my daily world of print journalism). So with that, I present my top 10 albums list of [...]

"You Mad Bro": "to make a raging person rage even more by asking the most ironic question" Deep in the heart of dumb-fuck America, people are very mad.
Heads up, Christians. Evidently, Oprah is the Devil. At least according to Mike Bickle (of the International House of Prayer or IHOP) who is co-hosting Texas Republican Governor Rick Perry's national prayer event. All 49 other United States governors, including Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, have been invited to this event. "The Harlot Babylon is preparing the nations to receive the Antichrist. The Harlot Babylon will be a religion of affirmation, toleration, no absolutes, a counterfeit justice movement. They will feed the poor, have humanitarian projects, inspire acts of compassion for all the [...]

"I won't say goodbye. I'll just say, Until we meet again." With those final words, the era of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' came to an end Wednesday, but just as she said, don't expect the Queen of Daytime to go away. Sources tell me this most definitely is not the end, but rather the beginning of Oprah.
Pint-sized opera singer Jackie Evancho returned to Oprah yesterday for the second (and last) time for the show's farewell episode. Along with Josh Groban and Patti Labelle, the America's Got Talent contestant serenaded Mama Oprah a surprise performance of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" so moving, it could easily be added as the 10th Most Memorable Music Moment in the daytime talk show's history . See the 11-year-old diva in this exclusive (and beyond adorable) photo shoot — she even poses with puppies, you guys!
It has been a minute since we have seen Alicia Keys after getting married and having her baby boy Egypt. The "Karma" singer appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show last episode called "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular" where she played the piano on the background for Dr. Maya Angelou who recited an original piece written [...] Alicia Keys & Maya Angelou On Oprah is a post from: RnB Music Blog

It's the end of an era... Yes, yesterday the first part of the very last episode ever of Oprah's show aired and yesterday Beyoncé graced the show with a performance of 'Run the World (Girls)' the very first telecast performance of the song (since it was taped before the Billboard Music Awards held Sunday's). Seriously, the intros of both performances made me so fucking warm from the inside. Beyoncé _is_ the mainstream equivalent to Kathleen Hanna for the 21nd Century. All hail Beyoncé:

"Oprah, we can run the world!" shouted Beyonce before busting out her 4 single "Run The World (Girls)" on the first part of the talk show host's two-part Farewell Spectacular. After a brilliant, epic performance of the Major Lazer-sampling song at the Billboard Music Awards , Bey, wearing a tuxedo one-piece, officiates an all-girl graduation for a shocked-and-awed Oprah. (Tom Cruise looks pretty entertained, too.) Watch the pop star kill it again by hopping below. Beyonce - "Run The World [...]

Beyonce - Getty Last week a few fan-shot sneak peeks of Beyonce 's debut performance of her new single "Run The World (Girls)" at Oprah's farewell spectacular at Chicago's United Center hit the internet, but they quickly disappeared after Ms. Knowles had them snatched off of YouTube. Today, Bey's superb performance aired on TV, and, of course, it's back on the net. Dressed in a sexed-up version of a tux, Bey explained how Lady O inspired girls to run the world, then handed out fake diplomas to a few cap and [...]
