Filed under: News , Video , Holy Hell YouTube You've probably heard of Kai, the hatchet-wielding traveling kid , from your BFFs by now. He's a sensation! He's even been AutoTuned . Thankfully, we can take an even closer look inside the hobo mind of the Internet's latest hero. Speaking to the only news station that covers Kai local Central San Joaquin Valley Fox affiliate, KMPH News, the "smash, smash, [...]

On June 10th of last year, a visit to Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe provided me with two things: some of the finest fried green tomatoes these tastebuds have ever enjoyed and an Edward Sharpe remix by Little Daylight . In time, the fried green tomatoes faded to just another food memory in a long line of them. But Little Daylight wouldn't go away. They followed Edward Sharpe with a remix of St. Lucia. Then there was Temper Trap, Niki and the Dove, Freelance Whales, Passion Pit and the Mowgli's. Each email was littered with assurances that [...]

Adele - Getty Adele has already won multiple Grammys, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and BRIT Awards, and now she has to make room on her mantle for a Golden Globe. The British songbird picked up the trophy for Best Original Song for "Skyfall," the theme song to the James Bond flick of the same name, at the 70th annual Golden Globes, taking place tonight (January 13) in Los Angeles. "Oh my god!" a genuinely excited Adele, who was up against familiar names such as Keith Urban, [...]

The producers of the Grammys have never been afraid to give the world fascinating, embarrassing pileups, and this year's ceremony could be a doozy. As the Associated Press reports , this Sunday's ceremony will include a vageuly ravey segment in a tent space outside the Staples Center, with 1000 fans. That's where the Foo Fighters and Deadmau5 will team up to perform a live version of Deadmau52s remix of the Foos song "Rope." And it's also where David Guetta will perform with Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. Hopefully, everyone will wear clothes entirely made out of glowsticks. [...]

The original song from Jill Scott came on my Pandora and...it was pretty much a wrap from there. I searched YouTube for a possible link to the instrumental and, I guess it was meant for me to do this track. I enjoy snagging these R&B/Soul instrumentals though. That's one thing I think will separate me from the masses. I actually grabbed Didn't Cha Know from Erykah Badu on my first tape The Progression then, took The Sweetest Thing from Lauryn Hill on my second project Grove Street. It's only right I follow up with Jill Scott's [...]

Lets be honest, Birdy's debut album is no different in essence to Joe McElderry's Classic album. The only difference being that Birdy chose a load of obscure indie tracks to cover, rather than the tiresome standards McElderry opted for. The album is an odd experience. On the one hand, it sounds almost exactly like you might expect - a collection of perfectly performed haunting cover versions by a precociously talented teenager who probably hasn't experienced half of the heartache she's singing about. On the other, it's an overwhelmingly brilliant album which raises goosebumps with the star's [...]

The cast of Glee fared pretty well with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences this year, but the musical comedy series surprisingly wasn't nominated for "Original Music & Lyrics" despite this season's addition of original tunes. Instead, Saturday Night Live dominated the category with four nominations, leaving room for only Family Guy's "Christmastime Is Killing Us" and "An American Prayer—Hymn II?" from the HBO comedy special Robert Klein: Unfair & Unbalanced . (Another HBO special that went over well with the Emmys? Lady Gaga's Monster Ball [...]
The season two finale of Glee included three new original songs.

Poor Haley Reinhart! First, the fan favorite gets voted off American Idol right before the finals, then she gets mercilessly teased with the possibility of filling in for a laryngitis-stricken Lauren Alaina , and to top it off, her original song was shelved at the last minute due to the inclusion of Bono, The Edge and Reeve Carney's performance of "Rise Above" from the Spider-Man musical. "That was going to happen," she tells The Hollywood Reporter about debuting her [...]
