Finally took the time to listen to the debut EP by Ottawa's Boyhood . Boyhood is the brainchild of Caylie Runciman. I happened to catch them live on December 30, 2011 . Listening to the whole EP, I was really impressed with it. Has that grungey lo-fi pop rock sound to it. Very much like the music of the defunct Calgary band Women. The standout track in my opinion is Where I'm Going. Think of Portishead if they went lo-fi and still maintain that trip-hoppy [...]

The music video was actually shown for one week in December in part of CMW's Facebook promotion . Here is the music video. Kill Count is taken from the Kill Count EP which will drop "Nationwide" on February 28th on Coalition/Warner (*hint* *hint*) .
