I remember being in tenth grade when Joe Budden's first single "Pump it Up" came out. To be 100% honest, I didn't care for it at all. After that track, it almost seemed like Joe fell flat off the face of the earth. From what I've gathered, Joe has released some mixtapes in the interim but nothing really serious... until Padded Room . It must be fate that has lead Joe Budden to this point. Once he was the artist that seemed to have a bright future and then he turned into the outcast of industry. One thing is for certain, there is nothing average about the writing ability of this Joe. "Padded Room" is part diary, part movie playing out in your mind, and part Joe Budden just getting busy on the microphone. With production for up and coming producers like The Klasix, Moss, and Blastah Beats to name a few, this album provides an element that only few apply [...]

I'll admit: I was figuring Padded Room was preparing for the Hip-Hop hairline treatment (read: pushback) but this will reasure the people that the February 24th release date still stands. Joe Budden's Padded Room drops 2.24.09. As far as it making to Best Buy, we'll have to do a regional watch to see if that plays true.

Frankly, I don't know why Sai ever really stepped out and started threatening to knock Joe out. Truth be told, the punchline in question was not offensive in the least. Off Budden's upcoming Amalgam Digital release, Padded Room . Nas must've coughed on these dudes & gave'em the "tin ear" syndrome because this beat isn't repeat-worthy.
