A few days after Passion Pit announced plans to cancel a portion of their summer tour due to singer Michael Angelakos' "mental health," the band released the second video from the hugely anticipated sophomore release Gossamer . The stunning video features a surprising visual display of engaging modern art, as well as one of the album's best tracks. NPR continues to dominate the exclusive album stream game, and they're hand-delivering a full listen of Passion Pit's highly anticipated sophomore album Gossamer.  Manners was my full-on soundtrack for a couple of months back in the summer of 2009 - and I have no question that this will serve the same purpose. This week, NPR’s First Listen series is streaming new albums from a pair of electro-pop outfits, Passion Pit and Purity Ring . - Passion Pit will release their sophomore LP, Gossamer , on July 24th via Columbia Records.
