We've heard "Take A Walk" and "I'll Be Alright," but now Passion Pit is sharing a third track off of their upcoming second album Gossamer . The song sounds like R&B meets "Sleepyhead." Ok I am not going to lie, we can't get enough of the Passion Pit remixes. "Talk A Walk" is just the perfect summer track and a preview of the highly anticipated new album Gossamer . Today we have Burns enigmatic rendition of the single with even brighter electronic melodies, added drump loops and vocal manipulations throughout. This heavily layered remix still stays true the original dynamics of the track, ultimately making it sound deeply organic.

Last Friday night amidst obscene thunderstorms and power outages at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, I had the pleasure of seeing Passion Pit's live show (shouts to the almighty @huckkwong.) This remix by THE HIGHWEIGHTS takes the song down tempo at the start, that allows PASSION PIT’s vocals to shine through. All of a sudden, keyboard and kick drums interrupt the lyrics in a furious beat that remains a recurring motif throughout the track. For Gossamer second single "I'll Be Alright", Passion Pit goes absolutely all out with maximalistic production and high-tempo, high-pitch vocals from Michael Angelakos. Like some of the main standouts from Manners , Angelakos's falsetto is on full blast with his melodies anchoring the track and then his lyrics playing second fiddle. But the beauty of "I'll Be Alright" is that while the song sounds extremely happy and summery, Angelakos discusses his personal and emotional troubles; his first line says it all: "Can you remember ever having any fun?/ Cause when it's all said [...]
