Passion Pit’s Original of ‘Constant Converstations’ is a bed of warmly keyed phrases - served simultaneously by a flowing lead vocal and a constant bass drum honed in depth. Passion Pit's new album, Gossamer , is another very strong effort from America's finest electropoppers. The word Gossamer means a cobweb or "something extremely light, flimsy or delicate," which at first I found as just a cool word and upon further inspection is definitely a symbolic choice by the group. The word does fit in with Passion Pit 's overall sound which exudes a light, poppy aura. As we already let you know about the stream of the new Passion Pit record, Aussies Gold Fields have gone ahead and have made a ridiculously good remix of Gossamer single, “Take a Walk”. While the original track had a smooth, conscientious mid tempo feel going on, the song is now raised a few levels higher. It hopefully make you smile a little bit on this Monday.
Gold Fields' remix for the 2012 Passion Pit single "Take A Walk" is definitely our favorite one for this track!
