Here is the first video for 'Take A Walk' from Passion Pit's new album Gossamer. Ever since the bands 2009 release of Manners, they have been riding on a high and now with their sophomore album Gossamer set to release July 24th, the band are set to take the indie/pop music world by storm once again.

Have you ever wondered what a “kaleidoloop” was? Well, rest easy, my friends: Passion Pit have got all the answers right here. The “kaleidoloop” is the instrument (instrument?) which distorts singer Michael Angelakos’s voice into the fantastic frenzy that is their latest track, “I’ll Be Alright.” The song is the second released from the upcoming full-length Gossamer, out July 24. Passion Pit are still six or seven weeks away from releasing their second album Gossamer and we've already heard the absolutely wonderful 'Take A Walk' but today they've unleashed its second single 'I'll Be Alright'. It's an aural onslaught. Chopped up and rearranged slabs of electronica pound away over four minutes, bookended by some wonderfully helter skelter sections. The group also took the opportunity to announce an extensive US tour running from June to November. Check out 'I'll Be Alright' below.

Here's the second single from Passion Pit's next album Gossamer which comes out in the US on July 24. Fans will hear the similarity to the Passion Pit sound that they've grown accustomed to, but the vocals still seem more easy on the ears like their first drop from Gossamer sounded. A lot of rhytmic energy in this one; I really hope they can live up to the legend that was Manners . Right now I'm not sure.

A few weeks back, we posted the first taste of Passion Pit's upcoming album with the song Take A Walk . Now, we get the more glossy second single titled I'll Be Alright . While lyrically the song continues the more serious subject matter of the new album, the sound has big beats and shimmering synths with several samples throughout. Stream it below. Premiered on NME, here is Passion Pit's newest release from their upcoming album, Gossamer .  In "I'll Be Alright" you won't hear Passion Pit at their most melodic. In fact, I would say it falls closer to their Chuck of Change - EP but with more speed and energy and again... less falsetto. Between the two from the album released so far, "Take A Walk" is decidedly my favorite, but certainly don't dislike this song. I pine for this album and have no idea what to expect after the first two singles.

The kings of gigantic electro tunes, Passion Pit release another anthem off of Gossamer . While I love “Take a Walk”, “It’s Alright” is 500 times better, and slightly feels like a Sleepyhead Part 2. Just so much joyous glitches and postive vibes rolling through here. PP have obviously made sure these new tunes would be as massive as possible. July 23rd is when Gossamer will see daylight.
