So we're coming in to the back end of the year and it's absolutely insane how much fresh new music is about to be released. It is mental. I found myself wondering if Passion Pit have been listening to a little too much R. Kelly as of late seeing as how their new track "Constant Conversations" feels like it's been trapped in their musical closet for a couple of years or so. With it's smooth R&B vibe and sex-inducing vocals, the new track is a great tune to play late night when you're trying to get your lady in the mood. Passion Pit have given us a nice little boost to a Tuesday with the release of their third track off the upcoming, "Gossamer" album. They've stripped it back, slowed it down, given us a good old soul filled ballad! "Gossamer" due 24th July 2012.

The previous releases from Passion Pit 's upcoming Gossamer have been, in my opinion, mleh. Nothing extraordinary from the high-falsetto pop group. However, "Constant Conversations" stands out a little stronger, and a little slower and more methodical than "Take a Walk" and "I'll Be Alright." We've heard "Take A Walk" and "I'll Be Alright," but now Passion Pit is sharing a third track off of their upcoming second album Gossamer . The song sounds like R&B meets "Sleepyhead." Passion Pit has broken off yet another piece of its sophomore LP, Gossamer , due out July 24th via Columbia Records.
