Passion Pit are readying the release of their new album Gossamer later this month on the 24th via Columbia. Up to now we've already got to enjoy " It'll Be Alright " and " Take A Walk " and today comes preview number three. Titled "Constant Conversations", it's the smooth sounding R'n'B number that'll warm up your cockles on a cold Monday morning. Stream it right now over at Pitchfork .

Passion Pit are still six or seven weeks away from releasing their second album Gossamer and we've already heard the absolutely wonderful 'Take A Walk' but today they've unleashed its second single 'I'll Be Alright'. It's an aural onslaught. Chopped up and rearranged slabs of electronica pound away over four minutes, bookended by some wonderfully helter skelter sections. The group also took the opportunity to announce an extensive US tour running from June to November. Check out 'I'll Be Alright' below.

Passion Pit have followed up their lead single " Take A Walk " with another track from their forthcoming sophomore LP titled "I'll Be Alright." The song is as dreamy and upbeat as Passion Pit songs have always been, with an interesting blend of glitchy segments thrown in there to stir up the mix. Check it out below. Passion Pit 's long awaited sophomore LP Gossamer will finally see release on July 24th, and today the band has unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for the album. Passion Pit's debut album, Manners, was a treat. We liked it so much we named it as one of the best albums of 2009 . Well, now they are back with new single 'Take A Walk', which is taken from their upcoming second album, Gossamer , due out in July. A hook-laden stomper, it sees Passion Pit continue down the dreamy disco pop of Manners, but sees singer  Michael Angelakosa draw away from his trademark falsetto. We're excited.

I feel like Passion Pit opened the door for bands like Foster The People and The Naked And Famous, but without ever really getting much radio play. The silent starter. Yesterday, Tokyo Police Club announced their 10 Days, 10 Covers, 10 Years project, and, with the help of M83's Morgan Kibby, released their cover of Moby and Gwen Stefani's "Southside." Today, the band's second cover was released, and this time around the Ontario indie rockers chose Jimmy Eat World's "Sweetness." With Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos providing back up vocals, the band took Jimmy Eat World's 2001 hit and gave it a new twist, all the while keeping the original sound intact.
