Pop Singles live in PBS Studios PBS 106.7FM is running 'Drive Live' this week in Melbourne and I rocked along to catch Pop Singles, Extreme Wheeze and Lost Animal. The week is presented by APRA and Arts Victoria and features a tightly curated selection of bands each day between 5-7pm. The best part is you can rock up for free and check it out. PBS members also get free beer! Seriously. Don't miss the critically acclaimed 'Twerps' on Friday, who ended up on almost everyone's best of 2011 album list. Check out details on [...]

Filed under: News , Exclusive , Television Live From the Artists Den There's a great, little-known artist named Adele , but oh man, can she sing. The burgeoning star will kick off the fourth season of 'Live from the Artists Den,' which premieres nationally on PBS beginning Feb. 3. The show pairs musicians with historic venues and broadcasts the resulting sets to audiences across the 50 states. To whet your appetite for the [...]

Tweet This week PBS are broadcasting their live music series Austin City Limits with performances from the Austin City Limits Festival . Included in this week's episode are Joanna Newsom and Fleet Foxes with Lykke Li and Florence + The Machine coming up next week, with Wilco the week after that. [...]
Apparently PBS has gotten cooler since my middle-school science teachers used to force us into digesting 3 episodes of Bill Nye The Science Guy everyday. They've just put together this brief, but informative video of the current state of the online music industry, and what lies around the corner. It's wild to think how different the music scene is these days, strictly because of online curators, and curators of curators (a la Hype Machine). Exciting times indeed. [via PBS] Tweet
Questo post si dovrebbe scrivere da sé. In automatico. Mettetevi [...]
Phil Ochs: There But for Fortune offers an authentic look at a great American folksinger and his turbulent time.

If you ever ask Dodge what his favorite live show experience has been, he would probably mention being in the audience for Arcade Fire's first taping for PBS' Austin City Limits TV show, several years ago. This past weekend, another performance of Arcade Fire appearing on Austin City Limits was broadcast. The entire set is streaming at the PBS website . You can watch it below.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo flattered! (@ 1:28)

Yes, go ahead. Rub your eyes in disbelief. We haven't been sitting on our thumbs over here at PB&J. We have asked a few artists or their managers nicely to a funk compilation. Above, you will see the names of 19 committed artists who will each contribute one free, unreleased original or remixed track; [...]
If you asked me to name my favorite concert of 2011, you wouldn't have to wait long for a " Paul Simon at Webster Hall " response. Simon's current touring band ranks among his best yet, which is saying a lot considering the highly-lauded players he's gigged with in the past. Beyond David Byrne's guest spot, which simply put was awesome, there was one highlight after another as the Queens native showed off his deep and eclectic catalog in front of an audience that ate up every minute of it. Paul doesn't just attempt to simulate the album version of [...]
David Bianculli explains why the new four-part documentary series called America in Primetime , which premiered Sunday on PBS, is " the smartest TV show about television I've seen in about 20 years. " America in Primetime is structured around the most compelling shows on television today, unfolding over four hours and weaving between past and present. Each episode focuses on one character archetype that has remained a staple of primetime through the generations - the Independent Woman, the Man of the House, the Misfit, and the Crusader - capturing both the continuity of the [...]

Last night, Lee performed "Hello Again" from Mission Bell on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno [...]

The PB&J team has been easing through a slight language barrier, but mostly working with rising Chilean DJ, FnK FancY, for the past month to bring you his Exclusive Interview + PB&J Mix. We promise you will not be disappointed with his sound. It's been a pleasure working with such a professional and mature young [...]
I had the lovely opportunity to sit down with the talented Australian DJ Anna Lunoe last week and ask her some questions about her work and success thus far in her career. If you haven't gotten to know her yet, right now is a great time to start. I started writing with PB&J roughly 3 [...]
