Coincidentally I drove through Cayucas not once but twice (Hurricane Irene flight delays!) in the last couple weeks before flying back east this past Tuesday. Cayucas is a beautiful dusty little beach town on the PCH north of LA. "Cayucas", the track by Santa Monica singer-songwriter Oregon Bike Trails is awesome on its own but gotta admit about 20 seconds in I was transported (a true test of the best kind of songs) back to last week and a place infinitely prettier, and sunnier (and less humid) than Boston.
