It's rare for a music video to really deepen the effect of the song it's trying to represent. Perfume Genius, however, seems to have gotten the hang of it. Mike Hadreas, otherwise know as Perfume Genius , released a new video for the song Dark Parts . His new album, Put Your Back N 2 It , is easily one of the better releases you will hear this year. The sincerity that comes out with every quiver of his voice is rarity in music and this track is good example of this. The beautiful Perfume Genius can now be added to the list of people who have performed a rather special session for the good people at La Blogotheque and their Take-Away Shows . The young talent performed thre cuts from his release, Put Your Back N 2 It. " Hood", "Normal Song" and "Dark Parts" all make an appearance. The former two can be seen at the top with "Dark Parts" up for your enjoyment after the jump.
