I was going through my blog archives the other day and wanted to see the official date that I started my blog. Sure enough it was July 30th, 2008, which means we are now officially 2 years young. Woah, where the hell did the last two years go? It seems like it was only yesterday that I got the sudden urge to really start my own blog after some outside motivation from various people. It was partly a way for me to put all of my musical obsessions out there for my friends to see, but deep down [...]

Sorry about the lack of frequent posts lately. As I stated earlier in the week, I started my internship at Beggars. I also am working my summer job when I'm not interning so I am super busy. Gotta save up some $$ for my trip to England this winter. I also saw Pearl Jam on Thursday & LCD Soundsystem on Friday, so I have had literally no time to update this here blog of mine. Things will get back to normal once I get into the swing of things. For now, enjoy the excellent British Sea Power [...]
Hello 2010! It's a brand new year, and a brand new opportunity to start over fresh! I am really excited that it is a new year, 2009 seemed to wear out it's welcome! There year had a mix of good times, but also plenty of times I would rather forget. I am not "depressed", but there were plenty of times during 2009 that I wanted to just cave in. Reasons? Well, I don't know where I am headed in my future, for one thing. I had to put down my dog Georgia over the summer, which I still take very [...]

Merry Christmas everyone! Today's the big day! The holiday that we wait all year long for. Am I the only one who isn't feeling Christmas spirit at all this year? I know that as you get older, your feelings on Christmas change, but honestly it is really lacking something this year! It is really sad to think about!!! I miss the old Chrismas's where you tried to fall asleep early, hoping that Santa brought all of your gifts. Life was simpler when we still believed in Santa. Christmas was a lot more colorful back then! I guess for [...]

I went to visit my brother and sister at school today during their Christmas parties. My brother actually has the same teacher that I had when I was a 4th grader. It was weird being back in the very same classroom that I spent a year of my childhood in. Everything seemed so much smaller, and less shiny. Something about being in an elementary school looking at all the parents spending time with their kids just hit me. I was sitting in those seats about 9-10 years ago, and I may have my own kids in a similar time frame [...]

Goodbye Binghamton Fall Semester 2009! It is time to bring on winter break, and 2010! I am pretty exhausted, as I pulled an all niter to study for my finals and finish up a writing portfolio. Time to catch up on the zz's via a nap! Good luck with the rest of the semester to all you college students out there! Here is a classic Mike Skinner song for you to listen to while you try to get through your finals, and wait for me to wake up. Keep flippin' through those hefty textbook pages! [...]
It's Wednesday. Hence, the "it's hump day" caption! For those of you that are unfamiliar with the phrase it just means we are getting over the middle of the week, and are halfway to it being over. This week has not been a great one. College is basically being a royal pain in the ass right now. My classes right now are pretty dull, and I had a hard time getting anything good for next year. I feel like with my current selection of courses, I am just going through the motions. Like a mindless troll just going [...]

Hey guys. I finally got my computer back! I actually got it back over the weekend. However, certain events have left me unmotivated to post. My dog, and best friend Georgia got diagnosed with cancer this weekend. Unfortunately, we had to put her down. I have had Georgia since I was only 5 years old. She was not only a good dog, but an important piece of my family. I grew up with this dog. I mean, she has been more involved in my life than my actual father! So this really hurt me, and it is weird [...]

And not in times that are already the worst in a generation. Why we're sending this message The Free Press is sending copies of this edition to members of Congress. Finally, the weekend. It's been a long week, that's for sure. Anyone who's ever been in one knows that LDR's are hard, and are not for the weak, by any means. Or the needy and clingy for that matter. It takes a lot of patience - that's a must-have. The things we do for love, eh? 29 days and counting. So worth it, though. Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I really can't think of a better way to start off the new year than being with the one I love. The One I Love by [...]

At a time when chaos and terror is hovering over India, all the while those of us in the US are gathering around the table for a hearty meal. I couldn't think of a song that would seem more fitting, and more in need than this one. Imagine by John Lennon image of Imagine Peace Tower, Viðey Island, Iceland from elding.is
