I've only heard a couple bad remixes of this song, but as far as the good ones go, this one is phenomenal. Hannes Fischer can virtually do no wrong at this point. Who would have though the man who emailed us music asking for a post over a year ago would be continually amazing us? **** Hannes Fischer is slowly but surely creeping up on my go to producers list. He caught my attention about a month ago with his slightly sped-up edit of Moon Boot 's instaclassic jam "Got Somebody" (filters not included). More currently, Fischer released a remix of Bon Iver 's gorgeous track "Perth", baring light to his versatility as a producer. Fischer adds a steady beat to the song while still keeping the intended ambiance of the original track. Bon Iver is one of the more tricky artists to remix, and for just about everybody, I would recommend not even to attempt it. Teen Daze though, is one Canadian I trust, and again he comes through, adding enormous bass and underlying synths to the beauty, “Perth”. He somehow makes the song even more mysterious and haunting.
