When we last reported on The Walkmen, we knew that they were heading into the studio , and we even had a taste of some new material , but now an interview with Spin puts some more concrete details into the fold. The Walkmen have picked out the tracks set to feature on the band's forthcoming new album. In a Twitter update to fans, the band revealed that they had selected 15 tracks from their recording sessions with producer Phil Ek . The band wrote, "Had a great week working w/ masterful producer Phil Ek. 15 songs survived his battle axe. we'll be testing them live all september. see ya." The band are slated to release the follow-up to ' Lisbon ', later this year or early next.

Shout Out Louds blev i dagarna klara med sin nya skiva som fått titeln Work , berättar Adam Olénius för PSL. Men det innebär tyvärr inte att den kommer släppas snart. Planen är att skivan, som är producerad av Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, bland annat) och ska låta som Our Ill Wills , fast inte lika dramatiskt, ska släppas vintern 2010.
