The Instruction - Hello Darlin'

The Instruction has been pretty busy recently. They just finished recording their debut album, Failure by Design , and are putting the final touches on it as you read this; so look for it in the near future. A music video for the forthcoming release, "Into the Tomorrow," is now circulating (watch it here ). Now that some of their time has opened up, they have scheduled four shows in the next month. People Noise will be at The Pour Haus with Trophy Wives and The Art on April 3rd. People Noise is Zeke Buck (founding member of VHS or Beta ) and Matt Johnson (former member of Boom Bip). But even still, they're not what you'd expect. They're far less electronic than you're imagining, and a bit more rock, and completely ignoring the 80s synth. We saw the Hotpipes at the Pour Haus last year with The Photographic and they put on a great show . The Hotpipes are from Nashville and are still promoting their 2008 album, Future Bolt . Hotpipes play a great dance-rock style that's hard to put a finger on (perhaps with a Nashville twist). Cincy's The Lion Rampant and Louisville's The Ladybirds will open. Black Acid Candy Box will be performing at The Pour Haus at 11pm on Saturday, October 11th - 2008. BACB includes Clint Allen, who most of you probably know or at least have run into near the sound booth at the Pour Haus, where he works as the guy working the sound there. The show is going to be a unique one as they will be recording and filming for a future CD and DVD release. Filmmaker Tony Sexton will be filming the show in High Definition.
