The Presets dive into the '80s back catalogue in the video for "Promises", one of many great tracks from the duo's acclaimed third LP Pacifica . Directed by duo Special Problems, this clip strings together a colorful collage of eighties footage and bright psychedelic animations. If you had enough time, space, and money to watch a couple dozen TVs at once, it would almost be enough to recreate the sensation of watching The Presets' new video for "Promises". Helmed by New Zealand directorial duo Special Problems, the piece combines live footage and CGI animation, with each shot part of an individual micro-film: there's the one about the girl and her beloved fan, the crazy person in elevator, the 24th century fashion show, and a surprisingly sensual nature documentary.
