Ghosts is the new single of The Presets their new album Pacifica is out in September via Modular Recordings video directed by Abteen Bagheri

Some of you probably saw this already, but last week “Ghosts”, the first official single from The Presets’ forthcoming album Pacifica , now has a video. The sea shanty-inspired techno-pop track is accompanied by a beautifully shot, black & white meditation on athleticism directed by Abteen Bagheri (A$AP Rocky, Blood Orange). Also, every day this week Modular + Nova FM will be streaming a different new song until the album’s Australian release on Friday. Out in the US 09.10. Early last month, Australian electronic duo The Presets gave us their awesome electro sea shanty " Ghosts ", an epic, synthesized chant that sounds like it would perfectly soundtrack a collab between Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron. The pair now have accompanying visuals for the shanty, a black-and-white affair splitting time between shots of the duo and the acrobatic talents of world-class divers. Nothing like a bit of lingering Olympics fever to kick off the weekend. Watch it above. The Presets' third studio LP Pacifica is out on September 11th via Casabland Records.

I never expected to use the word "Lynchian" to describe a 2 Chainz video, but that happened this week. Right then, I had written quite a long post about The Presets ’ new single, Ghosts, when it was released, but unfortunately, the record label or PR people or whoever deemed that providing a stream of the track somewhere in order to get, essentially, free advertising from music websites was just too easy and not allowing the song to be streamed was a much more challenging route. The official video for "Ghosts" is here - one of the songs taken from The Presets forthcoming new album "Pacifica". Australian dance-rock duo the Presets will release their new album Pacifica next month, and we've already posted their single " Ghosts ." For the song's video, director Abteen Bagheri films synchronized divers in ecstatic black-and-white slow motion, and it's pretty breathtaking to see these bodies falling with such perfect form.
