T - Part Three of H.A.T.E I'm so happy to announce that "T - Part Three of H.A.T.E" will be recorded by Swedish hard rockers Badmouth . Badmouth released their latest album Heavy Metal Parking lot to much praise in September 2011. H.A.T.E is the mirror project to my L.O.V.E project, where 4 rock bands make their own versions of the songs from L.O.V.E. "T - Part Three of H.A.T.E" is the rock version of "V - Part Three of L.O.V.E" which you can find here [...]
I was bored and clicking around on the Internet like you do, when I discovered two things on the Crashdiet site. First of all, I realized what their merch mascot reminds me of. I love you, Crashdiet and your extremely marketable new singer, but, um, you're sort of ripping off The Casualties. To be fair, [...]
You must be getting to know the drill by now. Our favourite sarcastic American girl Emilie Branch stepped up with a bunch of hot cons. Who's got the next one?
Chris Cornell is apparently releasing a more traditionally "rock" version of "Long Gone" as the third single from his Timbaland-assisted solo album, Scream ; the new version of the track is the bed for the above video. In its initial incarnation, "Long Gone" was a five-plus-minute OneRepublicy ballad about lost love; the new mix speeds up the proceedings a bit and turns down the Timbaland beats and loops in favor of a smoothly gliding bass line and lots of riffs. It's a smoother version of the track, to be sure, but the proceedings are a bit more [...]
Rock n' roll is going to set the night on fire.

And thankfully, Sergeant D of MetalInquisition is inclined to agree: Let's be perfectly clear: If you don't like Nitro, you're not my fucking friend. Obviously Nitro are completely ridiculous, but I 100% non-ironically love this band as Skullkrusher and Lucho Metales [other MI writers] can attest to. They had the biggest hair, the highest screams, the [...]

Today in Music History: In 1976 'Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975,' a best-of drawn from the Eagles' first four albums, enters the album chart. One-third of a century later it will be pronounced the best-selling album in history. It's no secret to anyone who knows me that I've been a card carrying member of the KISS ARMY ever since order forms for the Kiss Army first appeared in November 1976's Rock and Roll Over album. I stuck by them during their lowest period [...]
